Let Google Call 是 Google 最新推出的 AI 代理功能，只要你在 Google 上搜尋想買的商品，AI 就會主動撥打附近店家電話，詢問庫存、價格與促銷，再把整理好的結果傳給你——不用自己打電話比價。這是 Google 在「agentic commerce（代理式商務）」賽道上最具體的一步，也是本週 AI 圈討論度最高的話題之一。

Let Google Call 是什麼？怎麼運作？

Let Google Call 結合 Google Duplex 語音技術與 Gemini 模型：使用者輸入想買的商品類型（例如「兒童腳踏車」），回答品牌、尺寸、預算等幾個追問後，AI 會自動撥打附近店家電話確認貨況與價格，整理成摘要傳送給你。目前主打玩具、美妝保養、電子產品等類別，首發於美國市場。

Agentic Checkout：AI 還能自動幫你下單

除了打電話問貨，Google 同步推出agentic checkout功能，讓使用者設定價格門檻，AI 持續追蹤商品價格，一旦符合條件就自動用 Google Pay 完成付款（仍需使用者事前授權）。目前合作店家包括 Wayfair、Chewy、Quince 以及部分 Shopify 商店。

店家跟消費者需要擔心什麼？

小克實測心得：好用嗎？

把「打電話比價」這種瑣事丟給 AI，聽起來很吸引人，尤其對懶得比價、不想打電話問東問西的人是一大福音。但目前僅限美國少數城市與品類，台灣使用者暫時用不到。而且自動購物涉及金流授權，建議先從「只問貨、不下單」開始試用，觀察 AI 回報的資訊是否準確，再決定要不要開放自動付款。

Let Google Call is Google's newest AI agent feature — search for a product on Google, and the AI will phone nearby stores to check stock, pricing, and promotions, then send you a summary. No dialing required. It's Google's most concrete move yet into agentic commerce, and one of the most talked-about AI stories this week.

What Is Let Google Call and How Does It Work?

Let Google Call pairs Google Duplex's voice technology with Gemini. Tell it what you're shopping for (say, "kids' bicycle"), answer a few follow-up questions on brand, size, or budget, and the AI dials nearby stores, checks availability and price, then delivers a summary. It currently covers toys, health and beauty, and electronics, launching first in the US.

Agentic Checkout: When AI Also Buys For You

Alongside the calling feature, Google rolled out agentic checkout, letting shoppers set a target price and have the AI track it. Once the price condition is met, the AI completes the purchase via Google Pay — with prior user approval. Early partners include Wayfair, Chewy, Quince, and select Shopify merchants.

What Should Shoppers and Retailers Watch For?

The AI identifies itself as an automated caller on every call, and merchants can opt out entirely. For shoppers, the bigger question is liability — if the AI buys the wrong size or model, who's responsible for the return? The fine print isn't fully settled yet.

Kit's Take: Is It Actually Useful?

Outsourcing the tedious "call around and compare prices" chore to AI is genuinely appealing, especially if you hate phone calls. But right now it's limited to a handful of US cities and categories — nothing for Taiwan users yet. And since it touches real payment authorization, start with the call-and-check feature only, verify the AI's reported info is accurate, before ever turning on auto-purchase.

The only way to know if it's worth it is to try it yourself.
